Default Sewing / Tailoring / Stitching : Reusing / Recycling Short length Chunnies

HI All,
We happened to see short length chunnies or dupattas sometimes doesn't fit for us as they may be short to wear on dresses. So we usually buy a good matching chunny for that salwar and wear. And ofcourse we wont throw away those short length chunnies. Now a days, the length of chunny is becoming very short, as we can all it is a long stole. Eventhough we spend 1000's of rupees, the chunny is short, and happens in everyshow room. I am very particular in chunny length but at times, I will landup in buying short lenght chunny.
I have some such chunnies at house, where I want to reuse them for some purpose,I can't throw away them as they are very bright colors and with good material, ofcourse a bit coastly. I want to make use of such stuff.
May be some of you also facing this issue with chunnies or dupattas.
What you guys are doing with them??Any creative thought is more appreciable.

Hey Priya,

Now-a-days the inthing is to wear "stoles" over jeans/short kurtis.
You could probably make use of them that way.

Cheers,
Sudha
