    Thank you Falguni for this excellent initiative :thumbsup Can you please explain what 'bias patti' is? Also if you could give directions to cut, like you have given in the first tutorial (baby chaddi) it would be even more helpful. One more kind request is could you please give directions as to which part to start with and how to proceed. You would be doing beginners like me a very big favour. Thank you again! Looking forward eagerly for your next post.

    Hi Falguni, thank you for your very informative instructions. They are really helpful to sewing enthusiasts!
    @ amneeyam: The 'bias patti' is basically cloth strips cut on the bias. They help with lining, especially for arm holes and necklines since the bias-cut material is better able to follow the curves as opposed to material cut along the grain.
    Bias tape is available quite easily at Walmart and Joann fabrics in the US, but it is very easy to make your own bias tape. You can check out this video for instructions on creating your own bias-tape:

    I think u understand what is bias butting from chintam post. if still can't i post one attachment for bias cutting it's explain in details. i like your suggestions. now onward i show the cutting lines with different color and also try to explain how to start stiching.

    Day - 7 baby frock 2

    Dear Friends,

    Today we learn baby frock with new style. instead of shoulder we use shoulder patti. for that first cut the draft. then cut shoulder patti(belt) then cut shape pati.
    Insert the belt between Grament and shape pati. and attach from left to right or right to left armhole. of both the part. then revarse the shape pati. do same procudure for back part.
