    Hi kusum,

I have a doubt. You have mentioned for princess cut the measure is 3.3/4 between 1-1a, 2-2a,4-4a. is this value constant or how do we calculate.

I would like to stitch a top for my niece who is 10yr old. So how should I measure it as. Pls reply.

    Thanks
    Sherin

    Hi Sherin,

1-1a, 2-14, 3-3a, 4-4a is nothing but half of the distance between the 2 bust points. Usually for adults the standard value is 3.5" to 4" ( half of 7 to 8 inches) depending on the built of the person. For kids I guess its 2.5 to 3 inches. You can measure it up and take half that value.

Lets hear it from Kusum, if she has a different view.
