Dear ladies. I have chiffon fabric and I have been looking at this model of kameez since long time but I am afraid to spoil it. Could anyone advice what to change in basic kameez draft to get that shape of bodice which goes up in the center? And what kind of skirt it has? Thank you in advance for your time.

I am no pro when it comes to stitching.. but in my opinion it is done in two parts.. first the body part is cut separately and the kali or the bottom panels are cut separately. Cut the body part as usual. When you come to the bottom line of the body part, where we join the body and the kali, give a slight curved shape. Again when u design the kali, make sure you give a slight peak kind of edge at the centre. Or you can attach a simple A-line cut from the waist part. Make sure the bottom line is straight.

Hope this helps.. please post how u made it.. I am not able to paste the diagram, so i am attaching it. Please see the attachment.

Thank you and all the best..

Thank you mam. I understood your pattern. I thought I would have enough to make it back home but couldn't find time so as I just came back it will be some delay with stitching but its ok -this project is a priority for me.
