    hi IL's,
lately I have been wanting to learn sewing and stitching, thought of going for classes and enquired for the same.
tailor nearby my place said that the fee would be 5000 and he would teach 8 types of ladies dresses(2-blouse,nighty,salwar,pant)

is this nominal?? can i join?? i dint know whom to ask since my mother and aunt learnt it from my grandma..

I dont know if this is the right forum to post (sorry if so) but thought people here would be the right persons to answer my query.

    thanks in advance..

Why don't you look in youtube. There are lots of tutorials from basics of indian sewing. Blouse Tailor, Liberty Institute etc... search for these. I am sure with these lessons and some practice, you can learn at ease.
