Pls help in selecting a new sewing Machine

    Hi All,
    I am a begginer in stitching and going to classes now.
    I need suggestions regarding buying a proper sewing machine.
    The tutor in my class suggests to buy power machine which has pedeling also.
    She says that the automatic machines will get repair very soon.
    But I am interested in buying automatic and portable machine.
    Please give me ur suggestions. And the pros and cons of buying automatic portable machines.
