    Hi everyone ,

    I m trying to make a cotton bag but unable to find interfacing for it to give shape and structure to the bag. I went to the store too but they dont know what interfacing is. I thought i don't know what to call them ( interfacing for bag , wallets ..) in hindi. Huh, i m unable to proceed further. Any help would be appreciated.

    P.S i live in Navi Mumbai.

    In between outer fabric and lining material , an interfacing is used to give shape. Would like to know what it is called in India? Thank you for your reply.

    Normally we use

    Outer Cotton or Canvas material
    Inner : 210D Nylon or Polyester or Satin material
    Middle : 3 mm PU Form

    This will give you perfect shape and cushioning effect to the bag.

    If you decide on the shape and approx. size pl. upload the image let me draft the layout for cutting.

    I am asking you to provide the finish of any existing bag you can find lot of design in net. download the picture and post for reference. Because lot of bag design will be available. If i know your size and image I will layout and provide you. Based on that you can cut and sew.

    Okay. I want to make size of 24 cm x 18 cm but interfacing is the biggest prob for me.
