what is the common word used by tailors for interfacing.

Generally they use a word bakram for interfacing.

now a days we get Thin paper like interfacing .Bukram is not used for neck There are two types fusible and non fusible. [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] Sew-in interfacings are stitched by hand or machine to the garment, while fusible interfacing have a resin coating on the back that fuses to the fabric when steam, heat, and pressure are applied.you get in shops whee we buy threads and buttons.try in those shops where usually tailors buy things.If you ask in any tailor shop I think they will help you.
