    hai friends have a look at my new attempt .sunflower fancy dress costume.actually in my DDs school conduct a fancy dress competition so i made this costume for her how is it?waiting for your comments

    hi sandh,


    I just started booties... just finished 2 round and started 3rd.. i didnt find any difficultly in stitching [​IMG]but counting the chain is little difficult for me. is it coz i am using small needle??? my crochet hook is 1.75mm.

    i tried in 2 shops in abu dhbai, they said this is max size they are having at present and no stock of other sizes. i want to practice the stitches also. so i started with 1.75 size itself.

    anyway on march i am going to chennai. advise me what are the essential things i should buy from chennai for crochet and knitting.

    hai jas.....do you contact zova?she is very well known abudabi craft shops she is also in mussaffa i think.from chennai you can buy crochet needle in 3.5mm,3mm,4mm,2.75mm etc and all color yarn ,polyfiberfill if you have plan to do amigurumi,plastic canvas for try handbag or flowervase, flowerloom its very easy to make flowers in ram vinos thread you can find it,oksandhya

    yes sandhya, for sure i ll buy these things from chennai and will start learning from the experts like you.

    thanks a lot for the list.

    And i posted a message in abu dhabi Indians shopping/restaurant forum regarding the shop for these items.

    with certain links i came to know 2 shops one back of hamdan gold shop area, there only they said like this and one more shop green branch, i should try in that when my hubbie is free.

    i dont know how to contact zova...
