Required info. about school admission - 2010-11

Dear Friends,

I am presently at Muscat and intend to shift to Chennai next year. I require info. for admission to my daughter and son in Standard IX and Standard VIII for academic year 2010-11 in reputed CBSE schools like DAV Gopalapuram, Padma Seshadri and the like. I would appreciate if any of the friends can help me with information when application forms are given, entrance tests held and other procedures. For my daughter the second language required is Hindi and for my son French.

welcome to il. Getting admissions at the 9th is a little difficult. when you need french at that level, your school list narrows. do go through the threads we have discussed you will get an idea.

i have relocated from muscat, and my daughter is in 9th and son is in 6th.

for the senior classes you can only be confirmed of a seat only during march - june (and november application forms are given for kg). you can ask your people in chennai to contact the schools and find out from them.
