navadisha montessori school

Hi all,
I know that there have been various discussions on schools in and around velachery but can anyone throw more light on this particular school. I am interested to put my 2 1/2 yr old son.

Thanks for the threads. My house is in the velachery bye pass road right opposite hdfc bank. The convenience of the close proximity of the school is very attractive otherwise I would like to know other details regarding the school like do they provide food etc., I have gone through their website could not find as many details.

This is the hot topic when it comes to schools in Velachery.
They enroll kids from Playschool and the pre primary school is in Tansi Nagar. I have also enrolled my 2 year old daughter in this school. Even though this is a new school, the only think that motivated me is the Chettinad group of management.

I am staying in sai sarovar apartments-- the 10 floor apts. Where are u staying? Even I read a lot about THE SCHOOL but only thing that bothers me is that when will they build the school for 1 std to 12 th and where will they build.
Anyway I thought I will go and visit their premises also.

I just now saw navadisha school ofcourse the school was closed but had a look around the entire building was not that impressed with the look of the surroundings or the classroom. I read all your posts with regard to the A School. I thought I will have a look at it also. My son is 2 yrs 7 months now and I need to put him in a school. If you dont mind can I have your contact no. so that I can call you for details abt the school where you have mentioned that you have admitted your daughter. Even I prefer to join him on vijayadasami. Can you please throw more light on the entire admission process and is admission still available in velachery branch.

I heard that A schools don't have their own building yet. They will be using some rented houses to begin with. Is that true?

Hi Sowdha, i don't know whether i can post my phone number in a public forum :( Send me you email address so that i can send you the phone number. I will definitely detail you the process.

The house is for pre primary school as the montessori way of learning requires home environment. From 1st to 12th std, i heard that they found a place near kamakshi hospital to build the school.

And Sowdha, call A School and get yourself a priority number allocated before you email/ call me inorder to ensure that you will be in their list. You can do the other processes later if you are convinced with the school.

Thanks a lot. ; I spoke to A school officials today and they said vacancy is there and they were telling that school from 1 st will be 20 min drive away from the present school. I am really skeptical about it. I dont feel like sending so far a little kid. What is your opinion abt it?
