Question Schools at Madipakkam , Velachery

Dear All,
I am rightnow staying at Ambattur. I would like to relocate near Madipakkam or Velachery in a 6 months time. Pls tell me some good schools (CBSE syllabus) near Madipakkam,Velachery and nearby locations like nanganallur etc..

I need to search for my accomodation only based on the school locations. Can you pls help me? And any idea on the Creche facilities in the schools. Because I am working in IT and soon my firm is moving to Siruseri. Until I return from work, my son should be taken care of.

Dear Hema,

Just now I saw this thread. I am placed at Pallavaram on the hill side. Near our place is the Vel's Vidyashram which is closer to the radial road ( 100ft road) joining G.S.T.Road and the Old mahabalipuram Road. It should be about 15-20 minutes from Madipakkam.
This school runs on the PSBB model and they are the ones who started this. You would have heard of the Vel's college and all. It is the same and has till Plus2 from Nursery. If you like , you can try it out there

Hi: I have a 6 year old and a 2.5 year old. We are relocating from Boston to Chennai first week of June. I am interested in knowing about the schools in and around Thuraipakkam. We have read a lot about Billabong, other than that what schools are there for a 6 year old and what kind of pre-schools are there for a 2.5 year old.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
Sangeetha

hi hema,

If you are thinking of madipakkam/nanganallur.. you have modern schools which is quite good in this area. then dav adambakkam. dav velachery, chellammal school is another option. If trying to stay at velachery, then bvm adayar is also an option.

You have not mentioned about how old your son is. then velachery has few creches.

Love,
shanthi

Sangeetha,
there is billabong. then headstart is also an option. For preschool, i think there are few in thuraipakkam itself.
