Hi Shanvy,

Thanks for the details. Any idea about the fee structure and the teaching patterns? I am kind of thinking between PSBB tnagar and Adarsh. Both schools are at a walking distance from my place. From the prev posts here I understand PSBB puts both the children and parents under stress. This is one factor that is putting me off about PSBB. Any suggestions from you?

Thanks
Sunandha

westmambalam,

there are few good schools like
Jaigopal Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School,
Ahobilam mutt school is also good.
Sri narayana mission school has good repute.

then tnagar is very near..so there are lot of options open.

I personally feel the kid need to know, to tell their names, parents names and some general questions. not much taxing for lkg. but again i am not sure what is asked today.
all thebest

Sunandha,

Both the schools are academic oriented. there are very few schools in chennai that don't put stress on the parents or the children. PSBB is losing the gloss after the management shift. don't know who will handle the reigns, that would be a deciding factor. no idea about the fees structure.

Priya,

go through the whole thread. there are almost all the schools discussed in this thread. you can narrow on them based on the area you are r2i.

and once the area is decided you can check out the other factors.

all the best.

hi all,

I landed in chennai on july 13th. I have put my son in kids central kotturpuram for LKG.
He started going to school from the 17th. He has adjusted to the school and am much releived.
I have taken up temporary residence in tnagar.
Though it is a bit expensive, am also happy with kids central.
Thanks to shanvy, AbiV and all the ilites whom provided me with lots of information on schools around pallavaram. am still not happy about schools around zamin pallavaram. Anyway, kids central has classes till grade1. hope to work out something next year or the year after.

Happy to be back in Singara chennai and happy to be back in the IL circuit!
