hello,

I requested about the admission procedures for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) & Person of Indian origin (PIO Card holders): Would the schools consider them as Indian kids or NRI kids with regard to fees and what type of questions are asked to join LKG.

Can anyone who has some information on this topic respond? I would be very glad, if anyone could guide me on this as I have no idea about all this. We are planning to stay in West Mambalam, Chennai (Tamilnadu).

Does anyone know how good Adarsh Senior sec school in T Nagar is? They dont have a website and also not able to find further details except address through google.

Some of the schools take fees in dollars for oci kids.but there are other schools that take the same normal fees.

westmambalam,

there are few good schools like
Jaigopal Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School,
Ahobilam mutt school is also good.
Sri narayana mission school has good repute.

then tnagar is very near..so there are lot of options open.


I personally feel the kid need to know, to tell their names, parents names and some general questions. not much taxing for lkg. but again i am not sure what is asked today.

As for as i got details from people around, it is a co-ed cbse school that is next to hindi prachar sabha. the school has extra curricular activities also and the school premises are good.

The kids will be into 2nd grade right.the applications are usually given by january for 2nd grade and all. nowadays some schools are allowing you to register for application in january and they will issue applications and then entrance exams according to the vacancy availabilty.

The first criteria, is the area you are looking at. once you have listed your area then trying to list the schools in that area will become easier .
