enquiry abut LKG admission

Dear friends,

I am going to resident of nanganallur chennai, during end of december 2008, my son to complete 3 year on april 2009.

Is he eligbile for LKG admission during June 2009,in CBSE schools or he has to go for Prekg

Is there any strict age limted for LKG admission, as 3 years 6 months, to be completed in March

Please clarigy, if anybody knows the information
