Default Schools offering French or Sanskrit

Hi folks

I have returned to India last year. My son is now in class 5 but finding it very difficult to cope with language. He has taken Hindi as 2nd lang and Tamil as 3rd lang. Can anyone give me info on schools offering French or Sanskrit as 2nd lang from Std 6. I am looking at CBSE schools. Thanks in advance.

Priya

Hi Jothi

Sorry for the delay in replying. Busy with my son's b'day celeb. I live in Alwarpet. I am open to any school as long as the child is happy. He is not used to this system of copying answers from the black board or carrying so many books to school.
How about you. Did you have settling back issues like this.

Bye
Priya

sboa also offers french, from 6th. there are very few schools offering french from 6th. most of the schools do offer sanskrit.

Priya,

Sishya is a ICSE school. They do offer french. but most of us here do not like the attitude of the kids there and also the management.

Hi Priya,

sorry for the delay. My airtel conn was out for couple of days. got it back just today. As Shanvy has already said Chettinad Vidyashram is an option. But then the school has too many kids in each class. I heard they are very easy going when it comes to homeowrk. Both Sishya and Chettinad are hard to get in.
I did not have much problem with transition, cause I put my kids in Billabong loast year.

jothi.

Priya,

I forgot to mention my daughter studies french, and she is studying at St.Britto's Academy, so far she is doing fine.

As Jothi says, all classes have upwards 45student in class. and sishya is more difficult to get than CV. CV if you have the cash to dispose, you can somehow get. (yeah i am talking about donations.)

You have SBOA which offers french from 5th/6th.
