Slogas

Hi all,

I learned these slokas when i was young, but when i searched on internet there were a few changes.

Mooshika vahana modaka hasta
Chamara karna vilambita sootra
Vamana roopa Maheswara putra
Vitu-vinayaka paada namaste

I learned the last sentence as vitu vinayaka, but it says vigna vinayaka

Saraswathi Namastubhyam
Varade Kamarupini
Vidyarambam Karishyami
Siddhir Bhavatu Me Sada

I am just teaching my son these slogas and don't want to teach the wrong ones, if any of u are gurus at sanskirt can guide me thanks

Hi, nice to know that you are teaching your son good things. First of all it should be pronounced Sloka and not Sloga. Saraswathi Sloka is correct but the last line in Vinayaka Sloka is:

Mooshika Vahana Mothaka Hasta
Saamara Karna Vilambitha Soothra
Vaamana Roopa Maheshwara Puthra
Vigna Vinayaka Paadha Namasthe.
