| Malliswathi, Welcome to IL. The trend is usually the reverse. that is after tenth people switch from cbse to matric/stateboard. Let me be very frank, it would definitely be taxing for your daughter as there is a vast gap between the two syllabbus. Anyways if you and your daughter are confident about tackling, you can always do it. and getting admitted into cbse in the xi will not be difficult. If not too personal, can i know why are you thinking about the switch??

| hi malliswathi, IT is easier coping with the syllabus of iit when you are from cbse b oard. Agreed. but is your daughter willing to tackle cbse. check out the syllabus, compare and talk to other parents and then take a decision. Another alternative is there are coaching for iit from 9th. if you are very much keen on iit you could send her to those. all the best to your daughter.
