School Information

Hi,
My son is 5.5 and we are currently in NZ,we will b back in April i want to check what class he is eligible for and how much he should know for entrance exams ( Can somebody tell me the syllabus for 1st class).
We are planning to move to aundh area (Pune, Maharashtra) so can anybody suggest me some good school near by.
