Does any one know about La Chateliane Residential School at Alwarthirunagar.
How is the school in terms of reputation, teaching methods. Do they have bright students passing out every year? Any info would be useful. Thanks.

My parents house is at Valasaravkkm.When i saw ur thread, it made me nostalgic; for i grew up there for 23 yrs....

Okay, now abt ur query on Le chateline,My cousin sis did study there.It's a good school, but slightely different from the normal school since its residential.You have lot of people from other states.Only 2% of the class would be a day scholar.Food,snacks would be given there (when my cousin studied)..Not sure about the rules now...

Anyway you can consider this school.

Thanks for your suggestion. I went and inquired at the school, they said that they dont want too many residential kids, they are concentrating more on day scholars as its become difficult to manage.
But the admissions are over

Ohh....Admissions over.. tats bad....why dont you try AVM or Balalok in Virugambakkam areas..I studied in balalok..Great school...You can even try padma seshadri in k.k nagar..wonderful school to shape up the kid's career...

BTW, my parents home is very close to Anjaneyar temple in vlk.I did come over there day before....Will try to meet u n lalitha sometime!!

Yes, PSBB is also not possible as admissions are over. I have Balalok in my mind. Admissions are open in June.
I would love to meet you too. Let me know when you are around. Right now I am with my mother at Arumbakkam, no one to take care of my kid, I am working. If I am at Valsarvakam, I will definitely try to meet you.
