Default CBSE, ICSE or matric?

Hi,

Which syllabus is best? CBSE, ICSE, matric?
I am looking for something that will give good basics that will be a good foundation to go in for profession courses.

Hi minnu2006,

Icse is the tuffest..but the foundation is very very strong...but todays teachers/students dont have that patience.
cbse is the best bet in chennai...because you can write more entrances.

but dont go in looking at good foundation for professional courses.
look at it as a foundation for your child to look at the world and tackle the world...courses can be done later...

(again i dont say matric /state are inferior...heard the government is trying to make the syllabus in par with the cbse).

BTW, I thought all your confusion was over and you have finished selecting the school.....
