Looking for good schools in and around Medavakkam

Hello friends, I’m a new member to Indusladies family. Currently live in Cupertino, CA and planning to return to Chennai in June this year and looking for good schools in Vengaivasal – Medavakkam area for my daughter (6’th grade). Any useful feedback will be appreciated.

Hi!
In Medavakkam, there is a school named Bharathi Vidyalaya (CBSE) . The school is quite good. There are few schools in velachery too. Akshaya matric, DAV public, Navadisha (ICSE), Arsha vidya mandir, Ashram (Matric) etc.

We are thinking of sending my daughter to RMK Residential School in Chennai and we spoke to the principal and she nice and answering all our questions. Any feedback about this school?

Hi,

I live in Medavakkam. I have got admission for my daughter in Gateway International School, Sholinganallur. It is around 6km from Medavakkam Junction. Just one straight broad road and the kids will reach the school in 15 to 20 minutes.

The yearly fees comes to around Rs. 60000.

Boaz School near Medavakkam

Hi,

I am looking for some good CBSE schools between Velacheri and Tambaram and came to know about the below schools from Indus...

1. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tambaram
2. DAV, Velacheri
3. Boaz School

Can you shed your lights about Boaz and other schools ? Please also add more to the above list if you know off any other good schools around this area. I reside at Sembakkam(2 kms off velacheri tambaram main road).

coming to your question of the schools, it has been repeated discussed. infact i have given my opinion about bharathi in one of the threads. there is another thread about schools in and around tambaram do check out you can get a list and also boaz is discussed there.

My son is studying in Bharathi vidhyalaya medavakkam, I would rate the school as average.I don't have any idea about higher standards..He is in UKG , they have 2 sections with almost 50 students in each class. Term fees is 3300 from this term . If u want any details reply me .
