Pre-Kg / LKG Admission notification 2013-2014

    Hi All, Can we use this thread to share the details about 2013-2014 admission process, application issue date, etc. So that most of us will be beneficial.

    Let me start:

    Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir, Rajakilpakkam has started issuing application forms. They are allowing only 30 parents per day and you have to be there in school between 9.30am to 10.30 am.

    St.Johns, Medavakkam, has started getting registration forms for Prekg and LKG. Need to submit the registration form for LKG and they told they will call back based on seat availability.

    Hiranandani, OMR, has started isssuing application forms for LKG. Pay Rs.500 and fill a form and they will tell the assessment date and registration date. For my kid assessment is on 23rd oct.

    Fees in Ravindra Bharathi school..

    Application Fee: Rs. 1000
    Admission Fee: Rs. 30000
    The above two items are one time charges.
    All Kinder Garden: Rs. 60000 (can be paid in 3 terms 30K + 18K + 12K)
    Std I and II : Rs. 65000 (32.5K + 19.5K + 13K)
    Std III, IV and V: Rs. 70000 (35K + 21K + 14K)
    Std VI and VII: Rs. 75000 (37.5K + 22.5K + 15K)
    The above fees is excluding uniforms and books which will be charged around 10-12K seperately.
    Transport is optional.
    Rs. 20000 per year (1 to 10 kilo meters)
    Rs.25000 per year (11 to 12 kilometers)

    Yes in Ravindra Bharathi fees is on the sky end.. Though the teaching methodology ad curriculum is very good comparative to other schools in this area fees is sky rocking every year.
    Last year we paid around 74 fees 50k+transport 14k+6(boks and uniform).
    This year on seeing demand they have raised at a stretch..;-(
    Again we have to start the school hunt for my daughter this year also.. because of this fees

    But regarding this school review i will rate as 4/5.
    Because of my kid enjoys schooling and always singing and playful in home(;-)
    Again it depends on individual.

    What curriculum do they follow in ravindra bharathi school? Is it cbse or icse or something else?

    Hi.. Thanks for your review about the school.. 10k increase per year is too much yaar :(

    Hiranandani has lesser fees than RBGS :(
