School Tranfer Certificate Attestation

Friends,

Need your help in following:

My daughter is currently studying in Grade II in Abu Dhabi and now we are moving to Dubai. The new school in Dubai is asking for School TC to be attested/ authenticated by ADEC. and current school is saying that ADEC attestation we need to do on our own, school will not get it done.

1. Has anybody done this in past?
2. How long does it take in ADEC for attesting Transfer Certificate?
3. Are there any charges involved for the same?

This will be great help for us.

Do it fast before the holidays starts.
Contact some typing centres, they will help with a charge of 200 to 500 AED

Dear amreesh

Its not a big task , i had done this few days back for my son.

U need to collect the T C from ADIS , get is signed nd stamped in the new school , then go to the ADEC office , we went to Khalidiya area nr Sheraton hotel , they will do the stamping it hardly takes ny time .

as renji said u have to get the transfercertificate+marksheet if available( because some schools wont give marksheet before ur transfer certificate is stamped) translated in arabic ( most of the school provide it) to the nearest adec office and get it stamped. Pls carry with u ur childs original passport, emirates id and photograph and ur verification id too avoid time consumption

hii Nijasv,

There is no need of typing center or anything of that sort.

The total expenses incurred on this is 17 dhs (02 dhs parking ticket + 15 dhs ADEC fees). and its done in flat 5 minutes.
