Need suggestions to put my child in school

Hi friends,

I have 3 years old girl.I am planning to put her in school in India.I like to know which is the best, like matriculation or CBSE or International board.And also which is good, Co-education or a girls's school.
Please share your suggestions.

You have not mentioned where in India. If it is chennai, there are schools which take a child in the age of 3 and there are some which offer kg only after 3.5 years.

Thank you for the reply.At present i am planning to go India after 3 or 4 months.But i do not know where we will settle.I have heard we have n our place also

I have gone through the links you have given and by reading all the posts,i feel CBSE is good.What do you personally feel about it?And also i have heard fees for ICSE schools are very high and so i don't have plans to put her in ICSE.How is the fees for CBSE schools and matric schools in chennai? Please inform me regarding this.

I was an ICSE student and my children are from cbse. I really had an edge but at the same time, with the load of the syllabus that i see today, I would settle for cbse instead of icse or state board.

The fees depends on the school you are looking at. As far as i know the school fees alone per annum on an average comes to 30 today. I pay a little extra, as my daughter takes french instead of hindi/tamil. And also they have swimming, and other activities.
