Seesri CBSE doesnt have a syllabus for LKG and UKG.But for higher grades you will find the syllabus here CBSE Syllabus | A Complete Guide for CBSE Students By UKG children are taught running letters, days and months with spellings, additions and subtraction of single digits, spelling of numbers till 50. 3 letter words with vowels like cat, pet, nut etc.
Hi Seesri, As Dinny said, schools here train kids as below: English -Capital letters, Small letters, Vowels and 3 letter words Maths- 1 to 100 numbers, number name-1 to 50, more or less (greater or lesser) arrange in the small/big order , missing numbers, before/after/between concepts General- name, school, parents, siblings name, concept of opposites Drawing , story telling activities Language- Letters of tamil/Hindi My Kid at UKG here is going thru these activities We can manage with our own way of teaching there..still kids enjoy with attractive/colourful books with activites based on this..u may find in some book stores Kids learn much faster than what we think..so no worries... I realised it..when my daughter studied LKG at SG ..no writings earlier ... but picked up the syllabus here nicely with some extended months..Teachers also supported well (since they know other countries teaching methodology of play n learn) Happy Teaching and Have Nice Time Cheers!! Abirami KV

Welcome Seesri... Whatever I mentioned is the UKG Syllabus for the entire year.. Even in Many Big Schools ,only half of this has been in their entire syllabi ... I could see my friends kids in STD 1 are also learning the same ...(tamil letters and Maths number name) ..n few other schools are introducing full fledged Writing from STD 1 and not burdening KG kids ..
My daughter is also studying UKG in a CBSE school of Hyderabad. Her syllabus is almost same as given by AbiramiKV .
