Dear Oviya,

You are right. When you did not see any replies, it means that I was just posting the episode.
Thanks for liking the characters and the continuation, especially, the Arun and Kumar part of the story.

I quoted the day by mistake, Oviya. It's 28th Monday. Next Monday. I'd be posting it by Monday Morning Indian time, which would be Sunday Evening, your time.

thanks for the fb.

Dear Meenu,

Now I know the secret. To bring you to my forum,I should write a serial as good as ALS. I did miss you for a while. (I hope you'd like my thread on Mylapore Mamies and MNCs) and it's nice to see you again.

I have the same problem with my daughter. She has told me to interfere only when she asks to . Otherwise I ought not to micromanage or even macromanage her affairs.

But Arun's father is of a very different kind. You will soon come to know his whole character.

Thanks. But in the next episode I plan to activate your tear glands as well. So be prepared. But stay tuned.
Thanks for the fb.
Regards,

In fact my daughter often tells me not to micromanage whenever she feels I am overdoing.Next I enjoyed the clash between the heart and tongue.I always get my head score over my heart even when the herat makes me feel murderous. So perhaps I could not hide the smile when I read the clash between heart and mouth brought forward in simple earnestness by you.Of course I could not contain myself at Arun's reply for kamlas luncheon invite----"If you are going to eat with me, Doc, even if it’s potassium cyanide, it’s perfectly okay with me.”
You have brought out the mental exhaustion of Arun perfectly in a simple and engrossing manner.
With best regards,
Meenu

Dear Varloo,
You are right. It takes all types of people to make up the world. Here also I have a number of "thaan pidicha muyalukku moone kaal" cases. One has to be very careful dealing with such people.

Quote:
Is it really possible to get so close in one meeting, like Dr.Kamla and Arun? May be, when a person is so desperate as Arun!
It is possible to get closer even without meeting. I have not met many of the ILites including you. Aren't we closer?
In Arun's case he was need of love. And for Kamla she was seeing her favourite writer. What more do you require for closeness?

Quote:
And I will have to read the comments of others and your reply to that, that itself comes to 2 episodes.
You will have to, Varloo. Some of them are more interesting than my story. Thanks for coming in,Varloo.

Dear Aishwarya,
I am surprised to see your signature. There is a link to Chitvish Recipes. And then there is ticker factory weight loss card which says 9 kgs have been lost. CV's Recipes produce such delicious food that even after eating once in her place, I gained about a Kg or so in weight. Just kidding, Aishwarya. Don't cut down your weight too much.

Quote:
Now, i'm more tempted to listen to Arun's Love story.
Just 168 hours to go for that. It's there in the 3rd episode.

Quote:
I loved the way you have potrayed the heart- mind speak out.Really was like viewing a movie frame by frame!! Absolutely beautiful thought , kudos to you.
Thanks. In fact I designed the story in the movie format. I am not just writing a story but also simultaneously writing the screen play as well.

Quote:
Arun's father's characterisation or should i say picturisation was well.Dr.kamala and her husband,Mr.Kumar well potrayed and enviable couple.
Yes, they are. Enviable yet envy-less couple.

The wait is not long Aishu. From now on it is just less than 168 hours away.

Dear Sridhar,
CV also posts salads and soups for people like me and no oil recipes, so with that i achieve it! Will stop dieting soon.. may be very soon! Actually 58 is okay with my dietician as well.So its time for me to check out the sweets section of CV after 10 months of vanavasam=diet.

Thanks for the concern .I'm overwhelmed that you notice all these small things and write to me as well in your busy schedule.Thats VR!!

Dear Aishu,
I am now relieved to know that you are about to end your vanavaasam. Don't take a sudden plunge. Go gradually and sustain this weight. That's quite an enviable weight loss record.
I need to do a lot of homework on that.
Thanks for those nice words, Aishwarya.
regards,

Dear Sridhar,

As usual, looks like everyone has mentioned all the good parts in this episode...i too felt the same in all these Mini Adais you have delivered. Very tasty with a lot of moru moru....in all the 10 ......

Of course the story has moved too much.....except for the father's entry! I did not enjoy the scene in the bank with the manager.....Is this how the world and our society ( indian too!?!) is changing! Loosing out on one's principles, morals , to reach a target! Can't believe it happens in banks too....i used to think it was one of the safest and unglamorous especially for women!

Loved the character of Kumar.....very down to earth and good soul, with simple tastes and complete trust and understanding with wife! Are such MEN around really! ( have to check with our Kamla aka Sujatha about her Dr. Kumar!)

So finally Vidhya will enter ....and she is the cause for our Arun's depression and heart break is it.......achacho!

Will have to wait till monday is it....why not on saturday itself or friday itself ....or better still TODAY!?!

Dear Sudha,

When the customer says that the adais are good with a lot of moru moru, the cook who has been sweating all along in front of the oven, heaves a sigh of relief and even smiles.

Every time I write an episode I have this conflict. Whether the story should move or should it be moving. I think I opted for the second choice.

Indian work place has undergone a sea-change. I have written only the part which I can discuss openly before dignified ladies all around the world. But in some cases, it's so stinking that I don't even have the heart to tell them to anybody else.

Quote:
( have to check with our Kamla aka Sujatha about her Dr. Kumar!)
that adds to my list of worries. Because next episode is a different story and I don't know whether I should run the whole thing by Kamla before posting it here.

Yes. I have to break my head to write about that historic entry. Monday, the 28th is about 160 hours away. It will fly in a jiffy. Stay tuned.

Dear Krithika,
I am sorry I omitted to answer your question about Suhasini's fitting into Kamla's role.
Like Revathy, she'd fit as far as the acting is concerned. But her physical appearance..... May be I saw her first in Nenjatthai Killathe. Then she looked horrible. She has come a long way. But honestly she lacks the beauty which I want to give to Kamla's character.
It's not just because our own Kamla is beautiful. The third episode contains an incident when I am showing Kamla..
No no, what's this Varalotti, you have started telling that story..
Why don't we continue the discussion after the 3rd episode is posted.
Thanks once again for nominating The Haunted House in the FP forum.
