| You are right Chocolate. With his love failing and with a father who does not seem to understand or care, no wonder he is depressed. It is pent up feelings and suppressed anger that has come out as endogenic depression. thanks for the fb, chocolate.

| Dear Gowri, I must first congratulate you on the tag line you have chosen for your signature. "Success is sweet but it's secret is sweat." A line which applies with force to almost every aspect of my life. I only wish many people understand the import of these great words. Whether it is writing a story, passing the CA exams, or sustaining in professional practice, these words tell the truth and the whole of truth. I am not a born genius who can easily do things. But God gave me the capacity to shed sweat and at times even blood to make things happen. If the words belong to some one and you have chosen them then I admire your taste. If the words are your own, then I bow to your wisdom, Gowri. Quote:

Let's think about this way, Jithiks. Arun is not blessed with a father as good as yours or mine. May be to vent out his feelings he did that. Quote:

| Dear Vidya, Very few story writers have had this unique honour of keeping their heroes and heroines excited at the same time. Believe me Vidya I was excited by your reply and the impact the episode had on you and Arun. You have written that you two did not talk to each other for a while. That silence has conveyed pages and pages of authentic appreciation to my writing. How can I ever thank you both for that? Quote:

| Well well Sridhar, You really are a clever story teller and an expert serial writer. Read 10 chapeters, raced by it and at the end of it all, realized that you have not given much away from the story! The elusive Vidya is yet to make an appearance!! But... Must say the writing has a racy style to it, even though it does not race through the time :) It makes a pleasant read. Arun endears himself to all...a very natural characterization. His awe for his father is something that can be felt by many young sons. Loved the way you brought out the play between his inner and outer thoughts while talking to his father. It does feel a bit strange that a psychiatrist should befriend her patient in this manner, that too after a single meet. But then, you provide a valid reason of her being the fan of him. Also, I am finding it difficult to digest that such an young and easy going boy could be so depressed as to seek medical help...Maybe the further story will give an insight to all this. So so......Kamla's other name is Sujatha eh?!! And her hubby- The Kumar?!!! Sridhar, you simply better be good to Kamla and her character, or else.... ![]() Now, all set to get to know this Vidya. Waiting for the next six days to fly. L, Kamla |

| Sridhar Sir This is the first time I am reading your articles after joining IL. I must say you write so beautifully...I read both the first & second parts in one go... ANd it is so engaging that I never realized how time passed.. and I simply love Arun's caracter..and his conversation with his father is the best part..What you mentioned about the importance of job is very true.. In fact even I keep mentioning to my husband often that our personal life an happiness should always take the first priority over job. I am eagerly waiting to read the next part..VIdya's entry..because she shares my name In the meantime I am going to read the other posts of yours..Guess this weekend is going to be a busy one ! Regards VIdya |
