Default neat message

Dear Varlotti,
I have been awayfrom IL for quite sometime and it wasa pleasant feeling to read your story. I enjoyed the first two pages and the ending was what I expected. I did not cry too.But I must compliment you on the good points too I loved the character of mahindra. It is very essential in todays world of high competition to accept challenges with grit and determination to forge ahead in career or whatever we want to do in life. I do hope the youngsters take note of this point.Another thing i loved was your underlining the fact that one should
learn to open heartedly appreciate another person if he has done something commendable. In spiritualism one is first asked to get over ego. Your simple message of aprreciation makes one think beyond oneself. This I think is the first step to elevated thinking. Keep up the good work
Regards,

Default I am moved!

Dear Sridhar,
What an amazing writer you are.. I often used to think on the same lines as Saradha...seminar and training are mostly useless...But you set me thinking!
You have changed Saradha's stream of thoughts using her daughter as a tool..what an effective HR program..Mahendar is a wizard. Hats off to you.
Regards
USHA

Default Oru Nimida Kathaigal

Dear Sridhar,
Your cell phone story was a challenge to my tears! I am going to ask my parents to read these stories...
I wonder if this is my way of learning from Mahendar's training program?
Regards
USHA

Default Let's Just Relax and Walk Around

Most Gracious ILites,
Being used to discussing heartrending topics for the last few weeks, let's take a break now and take a heart-warming walk around the streets of Madurai. This wednesdays thread which has just been posted just takes you around some of the busiest and the most beautiful streets of Madurai with its eating joints, the swarming people and the typical festive season.
Have a nice walk around the streets of Madurai.
Varalotti

Default Lovely story !

Sridharan,

I just loved the script of this story. Woh ! Its written in such a unique way and that too without being partial towards any character !

I liked this story a lot. I will translate it in Marathi and Hindi.

Thanks and Regards,
वेदश्री ( Vedashri )

Default Thanks, Vedasri!

Vedasri,
This story is based on an actual incident narrated by one of my fellow trainers in a leadership camp. Credit should go to that man for the basic idea. I have not met him after the story was published. (Originally in Tamil in the year 2000). And he was a Punjabi.
Yes, you may translate this story in Marathi and Tamil and keep us informed of its publication.
regards,
sridhar

Question I did not shed any tears

I found the story too unrealistic. I could not relate it to any real time happening or sadness of life in general. May be I missed the point...
