The same is the case with our lives too, Sowpar. We think we are writing our life-story and get confused about the ending. Whereas in reality He writes it and and the beauty is that He knows what would be the perfect ending for our stories (and He knows perfect beginnings and perfect middles too) Quote:

| You are right, Sriniketan. I will just add one raider to it. The Gopura Dharshanam has to be accompanied with that kind of love. "kaadhalaaki kasinthu kanneer malgi" kind of love. I used to go to Kudalagar Koil in Madurai. Incidentally that is one of the very rare places where Perumal is in Veetrirundha Thirukkolam. He is sitting ready to bless us. When we do the pradakshanam in the outer prakaram there is a place where people will stop and do an "urgent" Gopura Dharshanam. Just gently slapping their cheeks with their hands and then resume the pradakshanam. There is a world of difference between Paanan doing it and our doing it. Quote:

| Dear Kamla, While reading my post was absolute pleasure for you, reading your fb is even more so for me. When a senior member, a mother, a grand mother, and above all a nice person so many nice things about my writings, I feel not just flattered but elated. I had the good fortune of meeting a very senior ILite. (No clues. He is a man;and I am not referring to Cheeniya sir). That ILite told me that one day from 10 PM in the night till 3AM next morning he read all the posts written by you. The one clear conclusion he had was that your writings were full of grace and love. A singular honour which is not and cannot be shared by any one else in IL. Sorry for the long prelude, Kamla. Talking about stories, I have found that there are two types. From one type we learn something. Like the simple story of the crow stealing the vadai. But the other type transforms us irrevocably. In the first type we would have to take some efforts to learn. But as far as the second type is concerned we need not do any thing. We'll have to just keep our mind open and the story would do the rest. Villi's story, Paanan's story belong to the second category. I am planning to fill up my forums with some of the second category stories I loved. And this will happen even after I start my serial. (Incidentally my serial belongs to which category? I think they'd come nowhere near the two. They are just means to pass off time.) Ajit-Devayani, or for that matter, whatever love story we see in the big and the small screens is nothing but highly diluted synthetic milk powder, while the originals like Paanan's and Villi's are pure cow's milk. Much has been said about the caste system. I would like to share this simile now. Let's suppose a hundred years from now this professional and corporate classification becomes more and more rigid. Then we will have the Doctors' caste, the Accountants' caste, the General Managers' caste, the CEOs caste, the Salesmen's Caste and so on. The Accountant's caste might be superior to the Salesmen's but definitely inferior to the CEO's. And there would be a battle raging on to find who is superior - the Accountants or the General Managers. Now shift the scene a few hundred years back and in the place of the modern castes insert the words, priests, warriors, traders and workmen. Now you have a nasty, man-insulting-man caste system in place. For God everything is a prank or play. We cannot afford to play as we have need for one thing or the other and so we need to expend efforts to get it. God has and is everything. If He wished he could have by the blink of the eye given the whole universe to Paanan. But He wants to play and at the height happiness will look like grief. You are right Paanan has gone through baptism by fire. But let me not spoil the suspense. And don't try to get to know the story from any other source. Keep waiting my dear friend. Believe me I can never afford to disappoint a person like you. love, Quote:

| Dear Brindha, Absolutely no need to apologise when we are talking about the highest form of love. You are welcome at any time. When you say that my writings have driven you to your Dad's library in India, I feel proud. Suddenly all the lonely hours spent before the system appear justified. God doesn't even expect us to love him. But we should know love, whether it be for God, our partner or our pet, is the only way for us to evolve and grow. I am eagerly waiting for you to ask questions. It will be my pleasure to give you the answers, if I know. In either case I will be learning. love, Quote:

| Thanks GF. The Good Lord always wants to play pranks on his devotees. You see when Kuchelan came to him for help, he could have given him something straight away. Instead he welcomed him like his equal. And as a good friend, the story goes, he and his Devi Mahalakshmi washed Kuchelan's feet and made him sit in the finest of thrones. And then they fed him with the richest of foods. In return what Kuchelan could give was some old aval kept in a dirty bag. Krishna accepted it with grace and ate it with enthusiasm. In the melee Kuchelan forgot the purpose of his visit. Krishna also forgot to enquire why had he come all the way to Dwaraka. He told this to Mahalakshmi. Legend says that the Devi thought of this with concern and saw the way Kuchelan had gone. The whole way, his house, his people were all covered in wealth. Did the Lord forget Kuchela's poverty? Not at all. He wanted Devi to see him with some concern. Let's see what Renganatha has in store for Paana. Being my GF you should not mind about the late entry. Of course I would mind about non-entry. But not late entry. ha ha Your BF |

| Dear GF, thanks a bunch for your kind words of praise. I too saw the movie Kaadhal Kottai a number of times. In the climax scene when Devayani recognises Ajith and comes running to him, I could not control my tears. That no doubt is pure love. But that is acting, but this is a real life story. And only after knowing the full story can we tell, whose love was greater, Paanan's or Renganathar's? Stay tuned Madhu. I will be posting the story sooner than expected. thanks once again for the fb. Your BF Quote:
