Salaries for Assistant Professors in Riyadh

Hello Dr Professor,

I am also a PhD from Canada in the health sciences. I am negotiating salary in College of Medicine in KSU. What is the range we can ask for? Does it make a difference if I am Indian Citizen or Westerner?
How mmuch can I expect for an Indian Passport holder?

The following question may have been asked several times however, since the expenses seem to increase every year. I would like to ask the question again.

I have been offered an Assistant Professor job in KSU (engineering department) Riyadh. I have no clue about life and expenses in Riyadh. I have a Ph.D. and M.S. from US.

Following are my questions,

What would be an good salary for an Assistant Professor in KSU (as I need to negotiate the salary with KSU)?

Is it easy to find a good house/apartment in a good community in Riyadh near KSU?

What would be the price of an 2-bedroom house/apartment?

What is range of monthly expenses (groceries: milk, vegetables, meat etc.. for a family of two?

How is the overall life style in Riyadh?

Can foreigners purchase a car? How much would it cost to purchase a decent car (used or new)?

I would greatly appreciate if any members of the forum can provide their suggestions.

Iam Shenaz from India. I have got job offer as lecturer from King Khalid university. Iam waiting for the offer details. I would like to know abt King Khalid University -its work environment, pay package, other offers other than basic sal and the place of course.

Iam an M.tech in computer science with 7yrs IT industry exp.Also has exp as trainer.

how about the admission process for ukg,and when it starts for 2012 academic year.kindly refer me indian compounds with tamilfamilies near by in malaz street.also give me the rent details for 1bhk (in compound),and is it possible to get accommodation inside compounds.what will be the maximum cost of living for 3members at present.also provide me details about hospital facility for kids. waiting for ur's valuable reply,that will be very helpful for us.
