Default Sub forum for Dental Health

hI

Why cant we have a sub forum under health for Dental and Oral health ? People these days are so apprehensive of going to a Dentist and visit them only when there is lott of pain which in our dental world means " more damage " If people could know what exactly their condition is, what would probably happen if it is neglected and what could be the treatment for the same.. i think the awareness would increase ! With people like Hema Gladston who has already started a thread could join me helping a lott of people worldwide.
IL COULD CREATE A PERFECT SMILE VIRTUALLY !!

Default Re: Sub forum for Dental Health

Hello Dr.Preethi,

First of all, thank you for coming forward to create the general dental awareness through IL. Also, thanks to Hema Gladston who has already been contributing Dental Tips in a thread.

Originally we did have a separate sub-forum for Oral Health as you had suggested here. Unfortunately, there weren't many discussions that evolved to keep the sub-forum active. It was hardly visited by many members. Hence, we combined into into the Misc Health Issues.

Based on yours and Hema's contributions, once we see Dental Health related discussions picking up with about 25 to 50 threads on the topic, we will surely group them into a separate sub-forum.

Meanwhile, I also would like both you and Hema to take a look at another dentist Dr.Niran's blog here - IndusLadies - Teeth RITE, Smile BRITE. She has been consistently blogging several dental tips for adults and children.

If either of you would be interested in a similar blog space, we will be very happy to provide you the same.

Thank you once again. IL would be happy to create a perfect smile virtually :))

Smile Re: Sub forum for Dental Health

Hello ,

I read thru few other requests for dental forum just after I posted a request to you. I understand what you say. But am sure people would definiteIy get much more awar about oral health soon. With a platform like IL am confident the reach will be vast.
I did browse thru Dr. Niran's Blog and yes it is a good one.. I have a blog space too and am yet to start blogging. I am just going thru hers and thought it would be better to post info other than hers so that all the IL members are benefitted. Thanx for your reply . :)
