Dear friends, Just want to re-confirm...I have few my friends saying that we must only tie saree for girls sadangu...The thai mama seeru....Is there any reason behind this? How about using a half saree instead of normal saree as the girl is only 12 years old....Pls share your thoughts....
@mala76 Sister, Yes it is not compulsory that the girl should wear Saree especially when she is young, in our customs we use half saree with long skirt only. Happy Occasion Sairam
Same thing in our community. By tradition, girls should wear half-saree but this is not followed anymore and most wear sarees.
