Travelling to Shirdi for Dharshan - Pls provide pointers

Hi,

My parents are travelling to Shirdi this month. They have booked the train tickets from Bangalore to Kopergaon . It would be of help if any of you can provide pointers on the below :

1. Accomodation & Food in Shirdi
2. Imp temples / places to visit in Shirdi in addition to Samadhi Mandir
3. Best way to reach Pandharpur from Shirdi and also accommodation , if required to stay over night

Thank you for the info.. it will be really helpful. One more question is about the possession on Thursdays.. I read that it starts at Chavadi... can you please provide more details on this if you can ? Also, where do we get the Shirdi Prasad coconut that we bring back home and tie it ?
