Default not sure if this is a problem..

hi
my husband has brothers and cousins...but this particular cousin of my husband, doesn't really
talk much with me or even with wife of his other brothers'....thought he talks well with all our inlaws ... (my mil has many sisters and brothers)...
this has been the case from the beginning..but he talks well with his brothers..
at times, am not really sure whether he doesnt really like to talk to me or is he shy or should i let it go as is...etc etc..its like he doesnt really talk freely with women of his or close to his age...

I am not able to understand the issue here...what suggestion do you need from ladies here.
If a man is not talking to you so be it.Be respectful and courteous to him and stay within your limits. So that should be it i think so.

Matraa,

Some people are just too reserved. It is not that the they are being rude, they just take time to get comfortable with people.
May be this cousin is like that. He has known your in-laws and his brothers since his childhood, so he is comfy with them.

Also, since you mentioned that he doesnt talk much with wives of his other brothers as well, it is possible that he is a little shy with women.

Dont let this upset you - Just behave normally with him and gradually he will feel comfortable mingling with you.

No, it is not a problem. Relatives among in-laws who talk less are generally considered a blessing. Don't make it into a problem by even referring indirectly to it.

thanks
as i already mentioned, though it doesnt seems to be a problem,at times i used to feel whether if i had ever been rude with him, which makes him be reserved with me...
anywayz, i know its my oversensitive character, thats making me to think like this.
anywayz, thanks for ur suggestions...
