Best gift from her..nothing till date
i gave her lots of them but i feel gold lakshmi idol thet i gave could be best but i am sure she feels its nothing as she keeps complaining i waste all money i earn and never buy anything special unlike other DILs she has seen

nothing as yet to my MIL because i did not have the opputunity to stay with her long and know her. i gift ppl only when i genuinely like them and know them well
so,now i have decided that i will gift her something on my next india trip
not sure what she liked.. but i have given her a saree (chosen by her only), a purse and a perfume til now. though she said she liked all - not sure which is her favourite.
about her giving me - i have got a salwar set from her and cash gift from FIL. recently, she gave me a book abt children/bringing up children/psyche of children... as im pregnant and will deliver next month. the book is really valuable and i think its the best i have got so far from her :)
