    Parents are upset...if their call wakes you up..
    Inlaws are upset...if they find you sleeping!

    Parents ask what you'll have for breakfast..
    Inlaws ask what you'll make for breakfast!

    Parents will hide all your faults..
    Inlaws will tell them to ALL!

    Parents will first ask about you,
    Inlaws will ask about everything, but not about you.

    Parents are great at doing things for you...
    Inlaws are great at delegating things to you!

    Parents will appreciate the little you do...
    Inlaws will complain about the little that is left to do!!

    Parents are happy when you buy something new...
    Inlaws will frown at every expense you do!

    Spot on !! I cringe everytime I have to call them mummy papa ! Its an insult to the word mummy n papa !!

    Parents will ask"Why didnt you call me past two days? Are you alright?Are you sick?"
    In-laws will ask "You SHOULD have called. You are arrogant"

    Parents will say "Eat well,its ok even if you gain weight :) "
    In-laws will say "You have become so moti and my son is going thin day by day. You eat everything by yourself" :)

    Very very true!!! In laws can never become parents because they don't need time to adjust to us but need to change their mindsets too! They think dil is a slave or doormat whereas we grew up as the apple of our parents eye!!

    Parents will wish you a happy birthday and pray that everybody in your family (including in-laws :idontgetit:) are doing well

    In-laws will ask you to keep their breakfast ready before wishing you

    Happened yesterday, my birthday, MIL was furious that DH had bought a cake and a gift for me. She refused to talk to me except to ask me when breakfast would be ready. And she never wished me all day. For that matter, neither did FIL :(
