how about some books or puzzles for them according to their age?

 

If the kids are born and brought up here ie. they are not new to US, it would be nice to give something that instills indianness in them such as a drawing book for learning hindu mythological Gods,set of indian comics, indian style video games, something that they have not see here and is new to them. I remember as a 5 yr old girl, I used to love small wooden kitchen set (complete with Belan chakla) from my aunt in haridwar....I used to also love pearl necklace another aunt, girls that age MAY love small chunky jewelry (make sure it's not metal). Maybe silver anklet for her?? it all depends on kids taste as well,what their hobbies are. Art supplies are v gud here so no point giving those. Hair clips for lil girls are different in India and beautiful and unique. Most of the kids toys in India are from Europe so those may also be new to the kids here....
