1.( when DD was 12 years old) MIL: When will this girl attain puberty ? its high time as in our family ( her DD's their DD's) all got it by 12 years itself.
me: But I got it at 14 yrs so still there's time..
MIL: Getting angry.. She is my family :rantso she will follow her Aunts..
For the good my DD got her first periods when she was 14...:thumbsup

2. MIL: Your parents already had two daughters so they tried for a Son but again got a daughter.. so why didn't they try for a Son again ??? Me::bonk

3.MIL: Have to buy a gold necklace for Purvi..(her DD's DD) will the gold price go up or go down this month???? God: How will I know:bowdown

 

Seriously..I wish I had more communication with MIL after reading all this post to share

After 6 months of marriage i got sever malaria .I was admitted in the hospital for a week .My dear MIL came home after 2 months she asked me
MIL:"Are you still talking the medicine of malaria
Me : No it was for a week not not needed

after a week
MIL:"Are you still talking the medicine of malaria
Me : No it was for a week not not needed

After a month
MIL:"Are you still talking the medicine of malaria
Me : No it was for a week not not needed

she went back her home town
On the phone
MIL:"Are you still talking the medicine of malaria

came again after 6 months
MIL:"Are you still talking the medicine of malaria
Me : No it was for a week not not needed

I lost my temper i answered
Me: they are not birth control pills mama tht i have to take every day
MILhhh

Went back after 2 months
on the phone

Me : No it was for a week not not needed

I scremed on DH
please explain her next time she ask me i will go mad

my husdand explained herand asked her not not ask me again .Thank God after 1 1/2 years oh malaria she stopped asking me the her FAVOURTIE QUESTION

Infact my MIL did same to me...but her questioning ended in a month or so.

Wow blessed.... ur MIL seems a lot like my granny. My mom once said that she had a very similar conversation with her about me. I resemble my dad a lot, but am told to have my mom's mannerisms. She simply used to hate it if someone mentioned that I did something like my mom did... I used to do something on purpose to annoy her

Now to something my mom-in-law asked me today. As we know, the gold prices have come down.. her question to me 'Will the gold price go down any further?... Me: I have not been following the prices closely, so am not sure.. Her: Oh, our neighbour said, it will go down even further.. (Me, to myself, if you already know the answer, then why ask me.... :hide.
