dear luckydove, congrats on ur baby.... i really suggest that u don't take the risk as the doctors have advised u not to travel...why don't you ask ur mother or mil to come and stay with u during ur delivery....thats would be of help to u and ur husband.... takecare and have a safe delivery! regards pavithra

DONT EVER THINK OF IT !!! If doctor is saying that u should not travel, you SHOULD NOT ! Get one thing clear from ur MIL, whether she simply wants to create troubles for you or she really wanted a grandchild!!! I dont really understand her intentions . If you travel and something unfortunate happens she is going to blame you only!Do not take any chances because it's your child and you only have to protect. And tell your BILs to stay out of it. If they cant understand your situation, they better not give advice to you. Both of you be clear and firm , that's the only advice from me. Pls take care of yourself ! If possible call your mom or mom-in-law herself here to live with you or anybody else from your family who can come. |

First of all - congrats. Second - the other ladies have already said the right thing. Do not travel - ignore what your MIL or others are saying regarding this. You have to listen to your doctors - if your mother can come stay with you for a while, it would be great, but do not travel - what is wrong with these people who are asking you to travel against your doctor's advice? Ignore them and enjoy your pregnancy with your husband. Take care Shobana

Hi Lucky Congrats to u and u;r husband..u r lucky enuf to have a supporting husband..As others suggest turn a deaf ear to what u'r MIL say and dont travel..U can ask u'r mom to help u at the time of delivery.. Gud luck Ramya

Hi, As other are mentioning, please don't travel during this time. No matter what. Please ignore those people. If they really care, they should not force you for anything. You can call your mom for your help. I am sure your MIL won't be of any help during your deliver, seems like she is a trouble maker. Touch wood, you are lucky that your husband is supportive to you. Not in many case it will be like this. So don't worry about others, just think about yourself and baby. Now there will be thousands of people who will talk 1001 things, but when you are in pain, nobody would come for you. Take care, Punitha
