Question 7 month pregnant and MIL forcing to travel

Hi ladies,

I'm married for 3 years,ours is a love-cum arrange marriage..
A few months back MIL insulted me for not having kids..and told me so many things which i really cant write here..i politely told her that we re not yet prepared but soon we will think about this...then she accused me of being infertile..which really shattered me..i discussed with hubby..i was working that time and we decided to wait for some more time for pregnancy.

I'm pregnant now and have placenta previa and doctor advised me not to travel..MIL is continously forcing(over the phone) me to go to my parent's house or come to their place (different city) which is really not possible considering my current situation, my hubby and I did everything to make her understand but she is unwilling to listen..now the other family members like my 2 elder BIL also started lecturing both of us on the same..

I don't know what to do as the journey to my inlaw's place is more than 35hrs by train+road, and I'm in my third trimester and I can't travel by air. My doctor has advised me not to travel..this is our first baby and really can't take any chances..

we live in pune( me & hubby), ther is noone to look after me and baby after delivery.shall I take risk and go to her/my parent's place or shall I stay in pune??

Please suggest

DONT EVER THINK OF IT !!!
If doctor is saying that u should not travel, you SHOULD NOT !
Get one thing clear from ur MIL, whether she simply wants to create troubles for you or she really wanted a grandchild!!! I dont really understand her intentions . If you travel and something unfortunate happens she is going to blame you only!
Do not take any chances because it's your child and you only have to protect. And tell your BILs to stay out of it. If they cant understand your situation, they better not give advice to you. Both of you be clear and firm , that's the only advice from me.
Pls take care of yourself ! If possible call your mom or mom-in-law herself here to live with you or anybody else from your family who can come.

First of all - congrats. Second - the other ladies have already said the right thing. Do not travel - ignore what your MIL or others are saying regarding this. You have to listen to your doctors - if your mother can come stay with you for a while, it would be great, but do not travel - what is wrong with these people who are asking you to travel against your doctor's advice? Ignore them and enjoy your pregnancy with your husband.

Take care

Shobana

Hi,
As other are mentioning, please don't travel during this time.
No matter what.
Please ignore those people.
If they really care, they should not force you for anything.
You can call your mom for your help. I am sure your MIL won't be of any help during your deliver, seems like she is a trouble maker.
Touch wood, you are lucky that your husband is supportive to you.
Not in many case it will be like this.
So don't worry about others, just think about yourself and baby.
Now there will be thousands of people who will talk 1001 things, but when you are in pain, nobody would come for you.

Take care,
Punitha
