    வாஞ்சையுடன் வருட
    காஞ்சனமான தாய்
    அருகில் இல்லை

    குழப்பங்கள் சூழும் கணத்தில்
    வழக்கங்கள் மாற
    இழந்த சாந்தி
    மீண்டும் வரவில்லை

    வாடிய மனதை மீட்க
    நாடினேன் இறைவனை
    பாடினேன் பதிகங்களை
    சலனங்கள் விலகியது

    பேச்சை நிறுத்த
    மூச்சை அடக்க
    இச்சை அகன்றது
    அமைதி ஊடுருவியது
