Then cook the basmathi rice and set aside. Now take a wok, pour some oil and when the oil is hot, add all the seasoning ingredients and fry till done. Now add the onions, tomatoes and cut palak and nicely mix and close with a lid. Let the whole thing cook very well. When it is done, add garam masala powder if you want and saute for a minute. Take it wok from fire and add the rice and mix it well. Take a wok, pour some oil and put the mashed potatoes and roast it slightly and when done add the curry leaves and put into palak rice and mix well. Serve with raita.
hey thanks alot for your recipe..actually i m looking for this recipe from 10months back,,thanks a lot but... for 1 cup basmathi rice how many water shuld be added and how many whistles in cooker..please tell me
first soak the basmathi rice..then add just 1and a half cup of water..allow just 1 whistle then put the stove in simmer for 10 mins...then switch off the stove
you can add palak paste in the veg briyani also and one more is,can add palak paste in making chappati dough,dosa batter
