    Hi Suganya

U can make dosa with moong dal sprouts which is a healthy recipe. Here is the recipe

    INGRADIENTS

    moong dal sprouts 1cup
    Rice 1/2 cup
    Ginger 3-4 pieces
    Green chilli 3 med size
    cumin seeds 3/4 tsp
    Salt 1/2 tsp

    PROCEDURE

Instead of sprouts u can use moong dal also.soak moong dal/sprouts and raw rice in a bowl of water for atleast 4 hrs.

After 4 hrs put the soaked rice, moong dal sprouts, ginger pieces, green chillies, cumin seeds, salt in a blender and blend in to a smooth batter. add some water to get dosa like consistency while blending.

U can make dosa with this batter immediately after blending. No need to ferment as we do for normal dosa.Freshly made batter tastes good.

This is also called pesarattu.serve this wid any chutny.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Here are few items which i do at home.Soak moong dal in night.Next day morning drain the water completely.Take soft cotton cloth or handkercheif and put all the sprouts into that and tie tightly.Make sure they have little mositure in it.

Next day morning you will see moong dal sprouts.

1)Now cut green chillie, Juchini, mango into small peices and add it to sprouts.Add salt also if necessary. This can be taken as breakfast.Mango tastes yummy with this sprouts.

2)Second recipes is take a kadai .Add 3-4 tb spoons of oil and add sprouts and fry or cook by covering with lid.Once they are done add salt, chilie powder and have as snack.

3.You can prepare side dish for chapathi or puri with soaked moong dal

4).Pressure cook soaked dal for 2 vissils.Take off and add salt.Preparing tadaka or talimpu along with green chillies and add this to cooked dal.Chop onions finely.Add onion to the moong dal mix with lime juice sqeezed on it.
Can be served as snack.(onion is optional)
