    Hi all,

    My hubby got me an oven a few months back. He wants me to cook food for him in it. Can u please give some easy recipes which i cook after coming back home, for dinner. Also have time to cook in the weekends. Non-veg recipes are more welcome.

    I have also heard of ppl telling in a few recipes to pre heat the oven can u please tell me how to pre heat the oven. Mine is a godrej oven with mw, grill and convention mode.

    Thanks in advance

    heres one non-veg recipe of CRISPY CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS cooked in microwave. its a hit in my family.

    Ingredietns;

    For marinade;
    1. chicken drumsticks- 12 pcs (skinned)
    2. ginger garlic paste- 3 tbsp
    3. chicken tandoori masala- 3 tbsp
    4. maida - 1tbsp
    5. salt- according to taste.

    for coating;
    3 eggs, bread crumbs, melted butter.

    wash chicken and pat dry. prick with fork. mix all the ingredients under marinade. add chicken and marinate for 4 hrs in fridge or overnight. beat eggs and add salt and 1/4th tsp chilli powder. dip chicken in egg roll in bread crumb. set microwave 200 degrees celcius using convection mode and preheat. place chicken on baking dish and pour melted butter on the pieces and place on hot oven. re-set oven at 200 deg cel for 40 mins. 1st bake for 20 mins and then turn peices sprinkle melted butter and again bake for 20 mins.
    NJOIIII.....UR CRISPY DRUMSTICKS.
    (for much healthier meal use olive oil instead of melted butter).

    I believe every microwave comes with an instruction and recipe book.Try the recipe from that book,which are fool proof.On more thing,its not necessary to do all the cooking in microwave.some dishes like ladies finger and paneer tikka are done very well in MW than stove top.
