Here are some combinations I have used that I have liked 1. elichi 2. laung+elichi 3. cinnamin+laung+elichi 4. fresh ginger 5. dried ginger (chukku/saunth)+ elichi Can fellow ILites share their favored combinations?

Hi BeeAmma, I'm also a tea lover and i like to have tea with maximum possible spices... generally i put ginger+elaichi+fennel seeds. but i also put tulsi leaves and black cardamom whenever i have cold or feeling low...
fennel seeds and tulsi leaves sound very novel. Going to try out the fennel seeds--do not have access to tulsi leaves.
i'm very surprised that you found fennel seeds(saunf) and tulsi leaves novel... fennel seeds in tea is common in north india...

I add elaichi,ginger and very little pepper powder when i have a bad sore throat. It really brings relief to my throat. I also like lemon tea when im not in a mood for milk tea. Im a huuggggge tea fan ) Chai addict..you see !! vani
Hi harikasri, I prepare ginger + elichi tea usually with dried ginger. I have a pestle and mortar in which in pound them. In winter I grate fresh ginger.
