Rosy lips ROSY LIPS Ingredients: 3 tsps rose syrup 100 ml orange juice 1/2 tsp lime juice 50 ml soda water Method: Blend rose syrup, orange juice and lime juice together. Chill in the refrigerator. While serving add chilled soda and a floating mint leaf.
Melony orange MELONY ORANGE Ingredients: 50ml melon juice 50ml orange juice 1 tsp lemon juice 2-3 pinches of pomegranate seeds powder Method: Blend melon juice, orange juice and the lemon juice together. Chill in the refrigerator. Serve garnished with pomegranate powder, sprinkled on top and a lemon wedge by the side of the glass.
Tomato juice TOMATO JUICE Ingredients: 2 Tomatoes salt and pepper to taste mint leaves Method: Blend the tomatoes in a mixie till the tomatoes are crushed properly. Add salt and pepper to taste , Mix well. Serve chilled. Note: Instead of salt n pepper you can add sugar also. But I seem to prefer salt n pepper.
Guava delight GUAVA DELIGHT Ingedients: 2 medium sized guavas 2 tsp lemon syrup 1 tsp caramel syrup Pepper powder for sprinkling Method: Cut the guavas into pieces and deseed them, cleanly. blend them in a mixie till you get a soft pulp. Add the lemon syrup and caramel syrup and blend well. Sprinkle pepper powder and serve chilled. CARAMEL SYRUP Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 1 cup hot water Method: Heat a saucepan. Put the 1 cup of sugar in the pan and stir continuously till it changes colour to a golden brown. When the syrup takes a darker shade add the hot water to it. Boil it for five minutes and remove. You can cool and store this for future use also. Note: You have to keep stirring the sugar , now and then lifting the pan to see that the bottom doesn't stick. When you add hot water to the syrup be careful of the steam. Do not get hurt.
Cinnamony Citrus CINNAMONY CITRUS Ingredients: 80ml orange juice 2 tsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder small pieces of pineapple Method: Cut one large piece of pineapple into small pieces and arrange at the botom of the glass. Mix the rest of the ingredients well and pour over the pineapple pieces. Serve chilled.
Mint guava MINT GUAVA Ingredients: 1 cup guava pulp 1 tsp mint syrup sugar (optional) 3-4 mint leaves Method: Mix the pulp and 1 cup of water. Strain it if you like. Mix the juice with mint syrup, blend well. Serve chilled with mint leaves.
Mint syrup MINT SYRUP Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 1 bunch fresh mint leaves Method: Heat sugar and water together in a saucepan. Boil till the sugar dissolves nicely. Add the fresh mint leaves, pinched by hand and later crushed in the syrup by the spoon. Cool and refrigetrate in a closed jar. The next day , take it out, strain and refrigerate again for the future use. Note: This by itself is a recipe. This can also be served with water and crushed ice and mint leaves.
