    I am looking for the one that tastes like, we get in tea shops.

    Google spritz cookies.....perhaps this is what you want? They are easy to make but require a cookie press (which is inexpensive).

    heyyyy...I made it 2 wks back .. and found the recipe in spiceindiaonline or you can google it tea kadai butter biscuit...

    Looks like the ingredient that is slightly different from regular butter cookies or shortbreads is the confectioner's sugar instead of regular sugar. This contains corn starch which would change the consistency. Thanks for the the links.
