Hi, I'm a foodie and love to taste all cuisines. Though i eat alot i cook only occasionally.Recently I cooked Mushroom paneer gravy(My SISTER's recipe) and it was yummy. Thought I'll share the recipe with all the amateur cooks in IL. Expert chefs plz bare with me:bowdown:bowdown 1.Finely chop 2 onions,1 tomato. 2. Dice the paneer and mushroom into cubes(200 grams each) 3. Coarse grind ginger, 5 pods of garlic,3 cloves, 1 teaspoon of fennel (sombu) and 5 pepper corns. 4.prepare 1/2 cup of coconut milk 5. With sufficient quantity of oil saute 1 bay leaf and cinnamon,then shallow fry the onions. 6.When onions turn light brown, add the coarse grind paste and fry followed by tomatoes 7. Then add mushroom followed by paneer 8. Add 2 teaspoon of chilli powder,1 teaspoon of coriander seed(Dhaniya) powder and 1/4 teaspoon of Jeera powder with Salt to taste.Fry for sometime and then add water 9.When it comes to boil add coconut milk and boil it to bring to correct consistency of a gravy.Add coriander leaves and taste It goes well with chapathi,rice and dosa!
