Try this sesame gun powder / chutney - good for health , easy to prepare ( ready in 2 min ) . Dry fry sesame in kadai ( 2 measures of sambhar serving spoon). When it splutters nicely remove from kadai ,allow to cool Dry Fry kari leaves( half a hand ) and asafodita ( half tea spoon ) . Fry red chilli ( 5 ) with 1 or 2 drops of oil .. Grind fried sesame seeds with rest of all , coarsely. Finally add peeled garlic pods ( 3 individual pods ) & add requierd salt and grind for a fraction of second and remove. Now ready to eat. For dosai / idly - either this powder with sesame oil / coconut oil as gun powder or for those who want to avoid oil can mix with little of water ( if u wish can finally add grated coconut to grind ). To store for few weeks / days : Allow this powder ( bit moisturous ) to get natural dry by leaving spreaded in plate for 2-3 hrs. then store in a container. .
