Hi all, I need some nice dhaal recipes as that is the only way we take dhaals and lentils and i don't make sambar or other traditional foods. I am kinda bored of my dhaals , so i am looking forward to some good dhaal recipes. It can be simple or time consuming. So ladies help me
Dhaal can be made in any form: 1. Dal fry: I am assuming you know of this already. You can mix different dals like Tuvar Dal, mung dal, masoori dal. 2. Add amchoor powder to dal fry to give a maharashtrian 'Amti' taste 3. In one of the posts, there is a recipe called Rajasthani Dhal Poori. I shall find that link and post for your convenience 4. My quick version of dal for everyday consumption is: Pressure cook mung dal +spinach+1 tomato with salt and one green chilli crushed. Before eating, I squeeze one lemon
